From Vision to Reality: My Self-Improvement Plan

Welcome to Project: Improve Me!

I'm Kari Lee, a mom who started young and is now enjoying life as a young-ish grandma. Life's been full of twists and turns, and lots of lessons - from raising a kid as a teen to diving into the world of data science and accounting. I'm starting this blog as my cozy corner of the internet to share my experiences and unique wisdom, while I figure out how to better myself at this stage of my life. I'm hoping it will be a great place for anyone to enjoy, but especially ladies enjoying their fabulous forties (almost fifties), like me.

What's Project: Improve Me All About? Writing is like therapy to me. So, I decided to finally start a blog after many years of contemplating. I think I had commitment issues and/or was scared of opening up to anyone, let alone the whole internet. Like most, trauma in life has led to a lot of "issues" for me. But, I've conquered everything I've been dealt and now I'm at the stage in life where I can focus on me; ALL of me. This is where I can share my stories, laugh, cry, and grow, far from all the social media noise. Maybe I'll find a great group of friends here, helping each other become our best selves. We can talk about everything from staying strong, getting fit, handling money, and dealing with life's ups and downs, to finding some inner peace.
