Save Your Memories with Your Stuff!
Free printable for women simplifying, downsizing, or just trying to hold onto what matters most.
I came up with this little system while packing up my own house. I'm downsizing into a small space on my son's property to prepare for some major changes in the future. If I found something I wanted to keep, I thought my son would just think it is junk and throw it away if I wasn't here.
I decided to grab index cards and write down some info about a sentimental item and why it mattered to me or what my plan was for the future with it. Then, I'd throw the card and the item in a baggie, if small enough. This way my son can see exactly why I kept the item and what I had planned for it. He could then decide for himself if it was sentimental to him too.
This free printable gives you:
Five simple questions to ask about any object that matters to you and a simple way to start passing down your stories and memories, one item at a time.
Pick one object. Answer the questions. That's it, a few short minutes, one memory saved.

💛 A Note from Kari:
I created Pen Your Past to help midlife women (like us!) reconnect with the stories that shaped us. Some are painful. Some are joyful. All are meaningful.
🦋 Your story matters. Let’s write it down.
